Honda Navi

I've had this for over 2 years now, the first CVT I've owned, probably not my last.
Back in 2022 an old friend, 87 at the time, decided he wanted one. He was like that, he'd had many bikes mainly auto in the later years, a particular fan of the DN-01 he'd had 3 one of them he'd owned twice. That particular bike was back in the local Honda dealer (Belleview) again in 2022 but was marked sold so he didn't get to buy it again!
In 2022 he had bought a Forza 750, swapped it for a 350 and a Quadro Qooder, I found a 2016 Navi on FB which we collected in my car. We had a few rides together with me on the C90 which couldn't keep up so I bought a ratty Wave 110i which would. He liked it but found it hard to start as it likes a lot of choke and if left for a week took ages to start. Ultimately he sold the Forza and Qooder and bought a new PCX which he rode on our weekly rideouts until last November, sadly he passed away this January at 89.
The Navi was passed to me in 2022, he had intended to leave it in his will as I'm the only one in our group interested in small bikes but told me to take it away as the PCX suited him.
The tyres were the original Indian nylon items from 2016 replaced with Kendas so it handles a bit better now. Worst thing about it is the range from the 3.5l tank and the fact that the odometer is in KM with an MPH faceplate, I can barely make 40 miles before having to switch to reserve. Apart from that it's a brilliant thing, fits in my car with ease and 220 miles in a day was no problem apart from constantly having to stop and refill.
Often get asked if it's electric even though it has a large exhaust, filled it up recently and the cashier asked me if it was electric even though he'd watched me fill it up. I was in Australia in Feb and was looking a a lineup of them in a Honda dealer and another customer told me they were electric. I was there to buy a genuine screen for it which I'd seen online for $43, I got a discount for cash, £20 and it came home in my suitcase.
