Re: Scanner
The apps/devices are all the same. It's the adaptors that are the problem. The 4 wires need to go to the right places

Power and earth are easy.
What you need to know is which standard the ECU works to.
Is your adapter specific for the bike?

Re: Scanner
My 6-pin Honda is ISO 15765 with an additional ISO 9141 K line. I use the car scanner app.
Makes sense, Honda would generally avoid US stuff using their SAE comms.

Re: Scanner
Thank you I have used both types, an older maxi scan car one with adapter lead, a cread 3001 for motorcycles and and a OBD 11Xpro car one with adapter for motorcycles; none worked the obd11 the supplied lead was defective so I used the lead from the maxi scan one and the screen lit up but didn't recognise the vehicle

Re: Scanner
Further to above, I have got the scoot running but with theFI light flashing 1 short flash followed by 9;short flashes. It would only start with the TPS disconnected but runs rough until the tps is reconnected and then it runs fine but with the FI light flashing.
