AN400 '17 and' 18 - same problem twice in a row

Hi All
I need some advice with the newer Burgmans.
3 weeks ago I purchased a '17 AN400, which has popped the check engine light a day after I got it. Dealer took an attempt to "fix it" but they probably didn't dig deep and days later the same problem appeared, so it went back and I got a refund.
Yesterday I got a same model, but '18, and guess what, today the engine light lit up again on this one too.
Both bikes were running well, so I guess it would be some electrical or sensor issues, but what do I know, I am pretty clueless about these things.
Is there any well know issues with these newer Burgmans which can cause these warnings? I had an older one (2010) years ago and never had a problem with it.
Both of these are very low mileages for the age (the '17 had 6k and this '18 has 3.2k miles) so probably spent some time sitting in the dust.
I am getting to the point to just let these Burgmans go and just get a Honda.
