No pictures, sorry!

This week I had a short work trip to Brussels as part of my farewell tour before retiring at the end of the month. After which I am changing from Scooter-Commuter to Leisure Rider (are these actual terms?).

Anyhow, not only did I see a BMW C1 in perfect condition but a... wait for it.... Vectrix!

The C1 was parked and had the luggage box on the back, looking rather smart.

The Vectrix was 2-up weaving hard through traffic. It was also in pretty good nick although looked smaller than I remember. It was also very noisy with that electric motor whine that food mixers sometimes have.

That is all....

I saw a very battered Vectrix in Essex a couple of years ago, probably on food delivery duties - I wonder if it had the original batteries or whether they'd been upgraded?
The C1 apparently came wildly back into fashion a few years ago.

I remember that. They'd actually drop one off at your home address at the time. IIRC they were around £7k back then, when a T Max Black Max was £5.5k.

Strangely enough a brace of the have come up for sale locally on Facebook Marketplace.

Although curious, they're such a ridiculous price with dead batteries, that I didn't even consider them worth mentioning until now.

Having just searched market place to find them, there's one up for sale in Sheffield too, but in working condition with upgraded cells.
