Honda Forza parts.
Just had a thought. Being made in Italy are parts readily available? Only I have heard in the past about problems with getting parts for Italian scooters. But on the other hand the factory is owned by Honda, so maybe not. Anyone had any experience with getting parts for the 'Italian' Hondas? The Forza, ADV and SH.

They’re built in Italy but they are 100% Honda, parts availability will be no different from any other Honda

Everything (or its parts) is made in China.
Where they bolt the bigger bits together is largely irrelevant and doesn't relate to the aftermarket parts supply. What's delivered to Val di Sagro will be for production only. Parts are Vigasio possibly via Swindon and will be separate shipments direct from the suppliers. It's simple logistics, production bits come in round trip reusable line pallets in a regular stream, service parts are in consumer packaging to either schedule or spot order.
Availability is down to how Honda manages the suppliers (there is no stock under J-I-T, only correct or incorrect demand management). If Honda got things wrong, or the suppliers did (my own employer is currently a mess because the banks are chasing them so they will do any sort or madness to save tuppence) parts supply will be poor, if they get it right it'll be fine.
You have an average chance with Honda (although I've never worked with them beyond concept stage). They are big enough to get a share when things go wrong and tend to think a bit longer term than most. The likes of Piaggio get the service they deserve, tiny volumes and either acting like they are special with new suppliers or keeping over cosy relationships with other going at the expense of the customer. They are chaotic themselves so their supply chain follows suit.
I've never had anything go wrong with a Honda that needed the sort of parts that will be hard to get. If you need something colour coded or a deep internal engine part though, expect to wait, no one is sat on a heap of bits waiting for your call. If you snapped a panel and Fowlers stock it, it's a weak panel or Honda sold millions, the Aftermarket accountants are looking at 8 week stock turns minimum.

That's good to know. Not that I expect to need any parts (being a Honda) but I never know. I could have a spill tomorrow and crack a panel. I was concerned mainly because I have owned a Sym, and I think we all know about the parts supply situation with those. The less said about that the better...
