I guess we could actually talk about maxi-scoots for a change!
It seems that Honda have made several announcements about updated scoots for 2025. Nothing fundamental, but the X-ADV and Forza 750 both get cruise control and the Forza gets an electric screen, whilst the X-ADV gets an easier to adjust manual screen. Both seem to have software updates for the DCT / driving & engine modes etc. plus very minor styling revisions. Apparently revised colour options, though presumably in the UK this means we will get some different shades of grey.
I'd love to love the Forza 750 but I just can't....

Its about time they put the electric screen on the Forza 750,i enjoyed mine for the couple of years i owned it,i know the DCT isn’t everybody’s cuppa tea,but i thought it was fine,the 350 i got to replace it,suits me fine,i have been impressed with it performance and reliability…….so far

I've got to agree about the colour, it seems stupid to me to put running lights on them so they can bee seen easier then paint them grey so you can't see them.

Minor upgrades imo, if Kymco and SYM had decent Importers/dealers, Honda would defo have a fight on its hands in the UK.I've often wondered why the Forza 750 is DCT and the 350 CVT, 23 years ago we got the silverwing in CVT, which in most opinions is better than the DCT. I know the 750 is a NC motor but come on Honda, you designed a great 350 motor, lets have another big CVT.

Yep, that sums it up nicely

I guess that DCT is slightly more efficient, but mostly I presume that its still got gears so that traditional bikers can still change gears and feel like they are a highly skilled racer! Even though the system can do it better than them (though possibly not in D mode....). CVT you just have to let the system do its thing, which it does, though it freaks some people out.

Good to see we are back on the subject of maxi-scooters on a site called Maxi-Muppets rather than the rant about cyclists then HGVs my 'I haven't heard this one before' thread turned into.

I have always been surprised the Forza 750 didn't come with an electric screen like the 350. Same for the CVT. I would have thought, at least with the electric screen, it would have been a matter of course. The 750 is higher up in the range after all.

The Forza 350 got a screen to replace the analogue clocks which I like the idea of but would want to study further. I have no idea why mine has a rev counter, real ***$ on a bull stuff, a literal waste of space in the dash area.

DCT or CVT I really can't get excited about. The price of the 750 is the total killer for me but at least the electric screen is closing the gap a bit. They need to enclose the chain next. A Forza 500 would suit me better, but won't happen.

DCT is a Honda solution to a problem that doesn't really exist. The market, US in particular, always says it wants European bikes if only they were automatic. No one wants a CVT Africa Twin or Goldwing. An automated gearbox can be the best of both and is now very firmly established on every other sort of vehicle. The motorcycle market of course then decides anything more complicated than a Sturmy-Archer 3 speed is going to break and doesn't buy the promised numbers anyway. Honda will drop DCT as soon as the bolt on auto changer is established and the tooling is worn out. It'll go the way of Moto Guzzi Converts and other products that believed what the market said rather than does.

DCT is much more economical. My Nc750s had a lot better mpg than my ADV350.
