I'm not having a good time

After my TMax was stolen on my birthday, I finally got it back after two weeks of waiting for the police to do their forensic stuff. They told me the damage was a broken mirror and some scratches. It was way more than that. I'm now waiting on a visit from an engineer from the insurance company to assess the damage but fully expect it to be a write-off.
To cheer myself up and clear my head I went out for a cycle ride this morning. Four miles into it and a patch of wet leaves saw me hit the floor. Once I got up I thought I'd probably broken my collar bone. I was able to ride home though.
My favourite cycling shorts now have a big hole in them and I need a new cycling helmet too. The good news is the bicycle seems to be fine.
A trip to A&E and despite first appearances, lots of arm movement, an X-ray confirmed a broken collar bone. It's the left side which is fortunate as I'm right-handed.
I've now officially had enough of this year,
