I'd like to inform everyone that as I refitted handlebar muffs to my Tmaxs this morning, it is now officially winter!

Still, this is probably the record for late start of winter - I've fitted the muffs before the end of September before now!

:) :) :) I have a pair of muffs in the garage that I used on the Deauville I'll have to see if they fit the Burgman, but not yet it's still on the mild side. But I do live about a 100+ miles south of you.

Yes, it's getting chilly! Since I've been recovering from you know what I really feel the cold. Recently on a 39 mile ride back home on a mild sunny afternoon, I really developed cold hands. This was remedied by a good dose of heated grips. It was so nice having them on I left them on their 90% setting for the whole journey! Lovely.

Well there's a thing - put mine on the Forza yesterday, after a chilly ride to the supermarket! They usually go on end of Oct, so a bit later this year - definitely always by now, especially if I intend going to the bike show...

I saw a bloke just yesterday riding his 50cc scooter with no gloves on. What a plonker Rodney.

I went out on my ebike last night. I need heated grips on it.

I rode up to Sunderland Tesco around mid-day yesterday; not the most sensible thing to do!
11℃ showing on the Forza dash, taking no account of wind-chill.
Easterly gale, Force 8, blowing at right-angles to the coast road.
Lots of rain.
My hands stayed warm in my expensive Richa lobster-claw gloves, thank goodness.

Yes, going to Sunderland is never a very sensible thing to do!

Fortunately, Tesco is on the fringe. ;)
