Honda news - not good

Just been told by my dealer that the earliest date I can expect an ADV350, ordered in April, is now December.

Also, that Honda bike dealers are being dumped/merged with car dealers so they won't be a Honda dealer by the time the ADV350 arrives.

On the plus side, the dealer knows he can sell my Forza 300 several times over so will honour the offer he made for it back in April and refund my deposit.

So I'm putting in enquiries for a Kymco DTX360 as well as looking longingly at s/h J300s. I always loved that scoot...

Its always ironic that when you actually have money burning a hole in your pocket and want to buy something - you can't! Very annoying...
I think you dealer is correct about Honda's dealer plans - my local Honda dealer used to be a bike dealer, but the franchise was transferred to the local Honda car dealer (Vertu). I think they guys there are OK, but they aren't even an MOT station and get the workshop I use to do stuff for them!

I keep thinking about changing either or both my Tmaxs, but maybe I'll stick with them both for now!

Our local Honda car dealer changed overnight to a Suzuki car dealer!

So there's literally no hope that we'll get a Honda bike dealer any time soon.

Kent Motorcycles Dover has been sold to Maidstone Honda as a going concern, the staff remain at the moment. But Honda must have some master plan, they are running stocks low to order only, not my idea if running a business.

Funnily enough this is pretty much what happened to me yesterday. Farnham Honda have been advertising some models on Ebay with an "Available Now" banner. So I decided to pay them a visit to look at a new MSX125 (Grom). The showroom had quite a lot of some models but only one MSX125 and when I enquired it was "not for sale, just a showroom model". But I said, you are advertising several different colours as available now. Oh no sir they have to be ordered and none are available until mid-October. I swiftly left never to return!
The happy ending is that I located a July 2022 pre-registered one from a Midlands dealer group with a small saving over list price and free delivery. It should be here next week. Pearl queen bee yellow in case you were wondering! So that's yellow then.

 A car I had many years ago, a Magnum 1800, was Coppertone Starfire. Which when translated, means .... brown.

P.s. Waiting to hear about availability and finance on a Kymco DT X360. Trying hard not to bite my fingernails down to the quick.

My last honda was from Hunts Manchester they lost there Honda franchise this year and is now a yamaha dealer, Rochdale honda gone, Wigan honda gone, my nearest honda dealer is now Chester (smith's) they had two dealerships one honda and one Triumph, suzuki, yamaha, Enfield, they have lost the Triumph franchise even though they had a good sales record gone to a car dealer.
