Wow, nice bike! Main issue as it has not actually been used, will be the probable need for a lot of work to make it good for road use. That will include new coolant hoses, brake hoses, tyres, and watch carefully for oil leaks due to oil seal degradation once it goes into use. Of course, if the engine coolant hasn't been changed out regularly the motor may already have been eaten substantially away from the inside due to acid formation in the cylinder cooling jacket. Nice bike but lots to be concerned about. Of course if a full service regime has been kept up that will eliminate most of the worries.

The low mileage could be due to any number of reasons.

I have a very low mileage 1997 XJ600 Diversion that I picked up in 2020.

It had one caring owner ... who subsequently died. The bike ended up back at the dealer, and stored in a lockup at the back because prices for Divvys were tanked at the time.

It only got unearthed in 2020 because they couldn't open the showroom during lockdown so the staff were clearing the lockups.

My C90 was stuck in a shed for 15 years because, "Grandad left us his bike and it's worth a lot of money." I picked it up at 22 years old with less than 2k on it.

Sometimes you never know why, but I'd be extremely curious, too.

while searching through bikes for sale before I bought the Burgman I saw several low mileage bikes like this. One or two had not been used at all. My last boss bought a brand new Harley Davidson tourer and put it on the landing of his staircase and there it stayed for years until he died.
That Burgman looks very tempting, but if these bikes are a good buy or not I don't know. Most of them had high prices on them.
