After loads of faffing about and several test rides earlier in the week I'm getting a jeans blue forza 750, traded in my sh350i which has a peach of an engine but dredful budget suspension, like 125cc and 350cc forzas....pitty...

Tried an x adv 21 plate, stunning to ride but felt forward floor boards we're tiny, had to have feet splayed outwards to fit on and even then it was very uncomfortable after 20 minutes.

Tried the latest burgman 400, just no power really and almost 7 grand! And 215kg weight. Tmax 560 too expensive.

I agree...it's a shame more attention isn't paid to the ride quality on 'smaller' scooters - I can live with it for the overall qualities; and I suppose the application of money could improve things, but..!

Congrats! I keep toying with a Forza 750, but I can't generate any enthusiasm....I've never ridden one (but rode the original X-ADV), but when I look at Youtube videos, I wonder if I could live with the plodding engine and the DCT that has a mind of its own. Its the sensible choice in many ways (and I have a dealer almost within walking distance!), but can't help feeling the Tmax is more fun.

As for the smaller scoots, I quite agree - engine wise, they go wonderfully well, but the suspension is normally suspect when you hit bumpier roads out of town. I wonder whether the Honda ADV-350 or whatever its called offers anything serious in the way of uprated suspension for its alleged Adventure capabilities, or whether its just cosmetic.

Hunts is such a good dealer. I've just ordered my third bike off them.

I've had 4 dct bikes now and I can genuinely say with each newer version the dct is vastly improved. The forza 750 dct box is smooth quiet and changes higher up the rev range than previous ncs etc.....plus the manual adjustments help. Plush seat and super power well 69nm torque is the key and 65mpg helps!

That said I'd of had the x adv had the footboards been wider. Very excited for tomorrow's delivery.....John @ hunts is the man. No other dealer gets close.

What fuel consumption figures are other owners of the Forza 750 getting? Every time I see a video, people mention high 50s, which is no better than the Tmax, Charles is getting 65 which is better, so I'm wondering what other real world figures are.

Charles….hope all goes well today for delivery of your new bike,i am enjoying my Forza 750,the DCT is vastly improved from my ADV 2018 model,still messing around with the user mode,mainly because the standard mode is good for me,i find i am using the paddle on the handlebars to drop down a gear to suit my style of riding,but never use the paddle to change up,i just let the bike do that.I am not one for reading instruction booklets so i just tend to bumble about with the dash,changing the different info and display styles.

My one gripe and i have said this on a few occasions around the different forums i use,is the lack of electric adjustable screen,but i am living with it,which i guess will appear in a revamp,probably 18/24 months,2 recalls on my one,purchased June 2020,ECU rewrite and check on a cable possibly causing engine stalling while riding,the letter came through startof December,so may well be worth while checking its been done on yours,i had the Honda heated grips fitted,the fact that they are intergrated makes it a neat tidy job,top box fitted on mine,unable to give you any idea of MPG,all i know is to get from point A to point B,i need fuel
