Eh?? I thought that the Xmax had a peach of an engine, but its suspension was harsh and inferior to the Forza?? This seems to be saying the opposite! (I've never ridden either).

From experience of both, I'd say the Xmax is more of a 'rider's bike' with firmer suspension and sharper, fun, handling; while the Forza feels a bit more grown-up and comfortable with a rather stronger but thirstier engine. Neither has a brilliant ride quality on crap roads; but they're small-wheel scooters!

Mr Grumpy has it. I haven't ridden the Forza but as an ex Xmax owner of 3 years, I can confirm it had an excellent engine and p*ss poor rear springs.
