Mobile phone extender/display for handlebars?

Post by 8500rpm »

Does anyone know of any small bluetooth enabled display (small!) that simply would display incoming call & text message?

I'm not looking for interactions, like reply etc, but when riding my scoot it would sometimes be good to know if wifey calls (or someone else important).

I have a cycling computer for my roadbike, but that is for heartbeat, speed etc, but it's nice in the way that it also shows incoming calls/texts so I don't need to check the phone every now and then on a long ride.

A Garmin/TomTom navigation display would do the trick but I don't need navigation nor such a big display, just something small, like a 2" display or similar.

(and yes, simple solution is, have the phone on our bike visibly, but of some reason I want to keep it in my pocket :))

What about one of the cheap watches that link to your phone that gives notifications.

8500rpm you have the desired item as you state " I have a cycling computer for my roadbike, but that is for heartbeat, speed etc, but it's nice in the way that it also shows incoming calls/texts so I don't need to check the phone every now and then on a long ride."
Mount that on your T Max and just don't bother with the heart rate monitor and other unwanted information.
