Slight vibration when pulling away slowly

Post by rayb »

I'v just noticed a slight shudder from the front wheel if I pull away slowly. It's only for a second. Possibly does it when I go faster but it's not noticeable. I can't see anything obvious.

Check the ABS sensor and ring gap, front wheel bearing, brake pads and disc. Have you hit a sleeping policeman too hard.

Presumably, I could check that by not using the front brakes and seeing if it goes away?

Put it on the stand get someone or use something to get the front wheel off the ground and see if it spins reasonably easy,
there is often a little drag but you should be able to turn it easily.
