Morning all, just checking in as my nooby self.
Honda Integra muppet here, mainly a lurker but also looking for riders up for some southern-based adventuring.
Also a touring fan; did 4k miles around Europe this summer with the gf and always have some sort of plan like that on the go.
Happy contrails,
HP

Hello and welcome
Re: Noob alert
Good evening all, thanks for the kind welcomes
I'm in Central London living near the Elephant and commuting to Oxford Circus area on the bike.
I'm mostly here from when I got into scooters with my post-125cc Helix. That was my regular scoot and my only means of transport for a few years (and went to Europe with me in 2014, where this happened: https://www.google.com/maps/@46.6641106 ... 312!8i6656). On a good day, that bike was untouchable, and I still wonder that Honda never gave it a decent rebirth. Maybe they're waiting for it to become retro enough?
Since the Helix was eventually just getting too old, and kept popping rear tyres under my massive arse, I went for a few test rides and upgraded to a Honda Integra. I like the fairing and footboard much more than pegs, and the chain / CVT thing has always been about chains for me (since my cycling days), so it represented a good combination of what I liked - some weird hermaphrodite of scooter and touring bike. And the 6,000 miles on it since May have been great - including going all around France and the top of Italy on it in the summer.
Anyhow, as I wrote, I do mostly lurk and read and chuck in every so often, but I'll definitely be keeping my eyes peeled for rides - even as the nights draw in!
Cheers,
HP
