TomTom MyDrive

Hi,
Iv'e just got my first Scooter (AN400K5) after 50 odd years of "conventional" bikes, and I'm loving it, especially not having to operate a clutch lever with my poor old arthritic left hand.
We have also changed my wife's car, the later one has an OEM Satnav.
I have a TomTom MyDrive, which was fine in the car, does it make sense to find a way of fitting this on the Burgman, with some sort waterproof case?
Any suggestions?
Robin.

Yes, I started with a Givi case that simply sits on the centre section and uses velcro straps to wrap around the handlebars. I also have a waterproof case from Ridermount that uses a suction cup that I attach to my screen.

Yeah if you have a spare satnav why not use it!

Ram mount do very good generic cases and holders: http://www.ram-mount.co.uk

Or plenty of el cheapo stuff on ebay.

Or a bit of diy, I made my sat nav holder from a bit of left over computer case. It looks a bit shit as I only had an angle grinder to do the cutting but does the job and cost me nothing.

I got one of these and modified it, works perfectly fine for my Samsung Mini phone... there are plenty of options out there.

Why didn't I look on Ebay first?

But I did, then, look on EBay, and a Givi Waterproof Handlebar case is on the way, for less than a tenner.
Thanks for the nudge.
