I see from searching that cameras have been discussed before, but it's the mounting of a Gopro I would appreciate your views on.
I mounted mine on the left side of the fairing, and to get the view I wanted I used the Gopro three way mount which has a couple of links in it. The video produced has quite a lot of vibration on it, possibly amplified by the mount. I wondered if it is better to mount the camera direct onto the fairing and just level the camera by getting the mount level.
Also, I believe some people use a suction mount and I wondered if this vibrates.

I hope the above makes sense. Basically, how do I minimise vibration (apart from avoiding the Cumbrian road surfaces)?

I mounted my drift onto the fairing om my 650 Burgman and found it to be a really stable pic.

Mine is mounted on the screen and pics are ok

Here's mine mounted on my FJR. I mounted it exactly the same on my Burgman although I seem to remembering applying a thin bead of clear silicon sealant between the fairing and headlamp lens to stop a bit of vibration.

Thanks everyone. I'll be trying the Steve D method next, when I get hold of another self adhesive mount. I tried a suction cup which had a very strong hold on the front of the screen, but there was still more movement than I would like. The actual camera mount can move a little relative to the suction cup, and this allowed more vibration than I would like. Perhaps aim being fussy, but I've seen the same type of camera on my sons bike and it was much smoother. Perhaps the larger wheels of a bike and perhaps better suspension make for a better platform. The fight goes on ........

I had best results with mine mounted on chest or helmet. My body soaks up most of the vibrations. Having a lot of flabby body fat helps too
