Have new Tomtom Rider 400 satnav I picked up at the gadget show this weekend, comes with a Ram Mount, but need a base for the Burgman. Ram-mount website says the brake reservoir version is not suitable for 2012/2013 650s. No alternative mentioned. Any ideas ?

When I had my 2011 Burgman, I mounted a suction base disc on the flat part of the top of the dash. I then mounted my setup onto that with a suction fitting the same as you would use for a car windscreen. I used a tethering cord in case it came loose but it never did in all the time I used it.

i think kayz1 has made a brake reservoir version with many holes for various reservoir top situations

KayZ1 is your kiddy, but I think he is away on an adventure at the moment, have a search of his posts for details.

I did mine before I met him, from these people - cheaper than RAM but fully compatible if you order the same ball size.

I made one from a bit of flat SS just drilled it to fit the Reservoir bolts and fit the Ram mount.

I use this one on the SYM with my Rider 2 and you can see its got lots of options re the screws so are you sure it wont fit?

I've got that same mount Mr Probe. Used it on my 2010 and on the 2014 650's.

Just fitted the Ram brake reservoir mount on my Burgman 400 today. I could have used the slots at the edge of the mount, but in the end I drilled an extra hole on the centreline to suit my reservoir. Looks pretty tidy and secure.

I just used and still use my supplied TomTom suction screen mount or my waterproof case with a screen mount suction adaptor. The B650 screen is fairly flat and as yet neither has fallen off, even tested down several cobbled streets but I do have a safety cord attached just in-case.
