The only thing that stands out in the specs over the SJ4000 or the Mobius Action Camera is the 2.5 hours of battery life, so not worth the extra money.

agreed 2 and half hours is 150 mins where the sj400 is only 70 mins - Mobius action camera 80 mins, the mobius does not have a screen so why not more mins, and waterproof case extra :?: the hero has an info display on front yet no viewing screen , thats where it saves the 900 mah battery life.. i had a voucher for £30 off so used that for my purchase :D as its for my sin for his sports the extra battery life is definitely a plus being so long, as you know what kids are like.. and for longer shooting would be ideal on a scoot :D

Mobius is smaller so has smaller battery and some users do not need a waterproof housing (primary audience has always been the RC crowd) hence the extra but you can buy it in a package for about £68. For functions, settings and specs it out weighs this Go Pro for cheaper, if you hard wire it or just use an external battery, you get more bang for your buck. With my external battery I can shoot 10 hours of footage and the whole package was less than the Go-Pro. Also receives regular firmware updates to increase functionality and excellent customer service.

The SJ4000 is designed to be like the go pro in its use, comes with the water proofing, has a screen and can take 12mp images, though not as flexible in its use as the Mobius it can be hardwired or run off external battery.

The GoPro... 2.5 hours on internal battery is some what of a benefit but you are paying for the name and flashy packaging mostly

or if you want to buy from the manufacturer via eBay

There are websites showing how to spot a fake SJ4000

Do you think the SJ4000 quality/longevity is up to the GoPro funky?
I wouldn't expect it to be
