Bridgestone SC or SC Ecopia... seriously rock solid handling.

I have to wait about 6000 miles before I can get some... not looking forward to the wait as they were awesome on my previous one.

SC Ecopia has 15% less rolling resistance ... so better fuel ..power and wear.. they dont make many sizes but may have changed from last time i looked... and the muppets need a review form a muppet as no one else i think has tried them :D

I didn't get to try the Bridgestone SCs on the mk3 - I had mostly the BT011/012, but the SC is pretty similar to the 11/12s on the mk4, if very slightly less sporty, so the default recommendation for the mk3 will be the B.stone SCs.

DON'T use the B.stone TH01s (as used on mk2 Tmax and Burger 650) - they give a very heavy stodgy feel on the mk3

For a while I had Dunlop Scootsmart (I think) on the mk3. They were pretty good - excellent grip in wet and damp, but somehow didn't quite have the nice feel of the B.stone BT011/012s - the front felt a little dead somehow, though I increased the tyre pressure a little which helped a bit. However, whilst the B.stones were better tyres, the Dunlops were a LOT cheaper. You pays your money etc. Can't comment on life of the Dunlops as I sold the mk3 a relatively short time after fitting them.
