At a bike meet the other day a guy comes on a Manual bike every week, he has a no left leg just a fake one, he has his bike adapted withn a macanical shifter to change gear for him via button.

Would such device alow a automatic user to use a manual bike if one was fitted ?

You can buy a Honda VFR1200 and a Yamaha FJR1200 which have the button option built into the bike which you can ride once you passed your test on an auto but not sure about on a bike adapted from a manual.

Indeed, I looked at some of the mods before choosing to ride an Auto. I was introduced by a guy in a wheelchair who rides and Sports trike conversion.

I'm thinking about getting another trike, geared trike and putting on kliktronic for shifting the gears. Because one trike just isn't enough lol and spending the kids inheritance sound good.

Do you ride a trike because of a disability?

Ummm are you asking me :) if so then yes i use trikes now as i have an above left knee amputation, due to a very old motorcycle accident. It's not riding that will stop me, just stopping  I can ride a manual, just would need to alter the gear change

Yes, I was asking you. :)
Have you tried any of the DCT Hondas?
The Monotracer has pop-down outrigger wheels, maybe something like those could be fitted to a regular bike.
