So I am still thinking of doing my Essex/Hertfordshire ride in reverse but not sure of a good date, also not sure how many would be interested so soon.

The ride would start at 10:00 am this time and I think I would skip Ayot St Laurence to make it shorter.

So who would be up for it and what dates are people available... I will be going on Mottza's Pie and Mash so that date/weekend is out.

I would be up for it depending on the date. What you have to bear in mind is that we are entering peak holiday season now but hopefully those who missed Saturdays ride out will be able to make this one.

This is why I am leaving the date open for now, even considering September as a date option

After screwing around with the map a bit I can get it down to 160 miles hit a couple a nice new spots and avoid some unecessary bits and make it just a touch over 5 hours.

This should make it more manageable.

Sadly I can't organise for the Lancaster Bomber and Spitfires to do a flypast in our honor

But...

If we went for the date as the 13th or 14th of September I might manage to get some modern aircraft to do a fly past (Duxford main air show dates)

I'm definitely up for this as i sadly missed out on last weekend's ride. So count me in!

I'm keen to do this having had to miss the first ride, only w/e I can't do is 6th/7th as I'm travelling back from France, but guessing with Pie'n'Mash ride we'd be looking at 13th/14th (or later).

I'd say 3rd or 4th weekend in Sept
