Three of us are taking a trip to Germany leaving from Hull on Wednesday the 9th July. Returning on Sunday evening the 13th arriving back in Hull on the Monday morning. There's me and the Son and Frank. We will be looking for accommodation each night, probably in Hotels like Ibis or similar. The plan is very loose so we would welcome suggestions.

There's a spare place in the cabin if anyone's interested. The cost of the return Ferry including evening meals and Breakfasts both ways is £174.00 as quoted,
but be quick so I can get booked if you want to come.

Ear Plugs are a must as is a good sense of humour.

Burgman 650, Burgman 400 and a X10 500.

PM for any further information.

fine if you have done this many times then you know what you are doing. I had friends that went to Germany some stayed in hotel to eat cost them them a fortune others went to Snell imbiss in mornings and family run bars for evening meals and got better food and value for money, but as you said you have been many times before so you know where to go.

You can't beat Budget ones and get food out of vending machine or take travel kettle you can have pot noodle then pot porridge in a morning .Scootouring took touring on a shoe string to another level on our trips .3 of us shared a straw bed above a stable in Andermatt was our finest hour lol

We stayed in an Etap in Germany and local Lidl had a cafe with seats outside we have eastern European playing an accordion outside our local Lidl but no cafe .Andermatt is in Switzerland yes but they speak German so near enough .Last tmax treffen they took us to a stall in the market bit sausage and frites with curry sauce was like being at home .There's a few Chinese buffet places they are usually good value as set price .

Would I be excused as I suffer with hayfever, and take a dislike to sausages. :P

The sound of Cindy (horse) having a piss in the night then the smell wafting up to the loft will live with me for ever    Oh and when I went down for early morning pee she foamed at the mouth thought I had come to feed her   .The owner did a great breakfast tho and we had painted boiled eggs whats not to like .Ian Aussie xxx wimped out which worked out good for me as just rolled over 2nd night onto his fresh straw .Worst bit is getting bit of straw poke you in the ear in the night .We had some good tours but all finished now due to finances and neglecting the wife's .Its me and wife in the transit now with Vespa on a rack just ride when we get there.
