London Advice please
Hi London Muppet's I have to be at a meeting in Tavistock Sq WC1 on Wednesday at 10. I am riding up from Brighton and I see there are loads of free bike spaces in the area, my question is will I need to get up there very early to get a space or is there plenty going? Thanks

Don't look anyone in the eye and carry a knife.

watch out for the yellow sections in the middle of roads as you are not allowed to enter them and be stationary or you get a automatic ticket

Re: London Advice please
A few things I have learned:
Look out for bus lanes on the red routes - you can use most of them. Check for the motorbike symbol.
Pedestrians are often from overseas so don't expect them to look in the right direction before they start to cross.
I think you might be in Camden, but if in Westminster don't forget to pay the parking fee. All bike bays are code 6789 so once you park in one you can move to another.
Look up where the bike bays are before you go and pick the one closest to where you want. Then work out another three or four as fallbacks.
Be especially way of Addison Lee cabs as they are all gits. Black cabs often pull funny manoeuvres without warning. Buses WILL pull out on you.
Ignore all the cyclists. If you watch what they do, you'll only get road rage! The blue Barclay's bikes are especially a hazard.
If a courier comes near you, no matter whether on moped, bicycle or big bike - get out of their way. Pronto.
