I started my nursing career in October 1975 and today I will go to work and do my final shift hanging up my uniform for the last time tonight, a very strange feeling :(

Since retiring I have been working part time at our local hospital and subsequently see the extraordinary work that nurses do on a daily basis. In this vacuous debased society that we now live you can truly be proud of the contribution that you have made so I am quite sure that I speak for many when I wish you a long and happy retirement.

I'm sure you'll enjoy the retirement pal. And on a positive note you've got plenty of time to fetch the 600i up to Donny for me to have a shufty!

Congrats spaceprobe. It takes some getting used to to start with, but funnily enough, not going to work is great! You'll soon wonder how you had time to go to work...honest. You'll definitely have more scootering time, and what a scooter you'll have! It's all about... 'more you time' from now on. See you soon. 8-)

As I've had a completely shit day at work, I'm bloody envious of your retirement!! Roll on the next round of redundancies....I want out.
