2013/2014 Burgman 650 Laminar Lip.

Post by macamxthe1st »

I have been having a conversation with Laminar regarding a Lip for the new model Burgman 650. They have now come back to me to say that the new model screen is the same as the previous model. Could anyone who has experience of both models please tell me if this is indeed the case. (Before I order one).

Geoff.

Its absolutely not the same screen. The new model 650 is a completely different mount to the previous.

Thanks for that. You just saved me from an expensive error. Laminar spoke to a US dealer who assured them it was the same. Thanks again.

Maybe it's a different mount to accommodate a different front en but the top bit of the screen is the same. Only saying.

Ok then, the only area that I have a problem with my Burgman is the turbulence and noise no matter where I position the screen. I have measured up the Givi 3104 and that ain't any good as at 5'6" I would be looking through it and not over it. There is no Laminar Lip available at this time so can anyone point me in the direction of any other products that may sort the airflow.

You can always cut down a Givi (or whatever) screen to the right height.

Did cross my mind but in truth just don't have the gonads to tackle that one.
