Any Kent riders could meet up at Nell's Cafe, A2 Gravesend East turnoff for breakfast and someone must know a way to the airfield without using motorways.

I might be up for that... I certainly know my way around the Essex backroads but am in Wanstead so not a lot of point in my hiking down to Gravesend - I could be persuaded, seeing as it's you Dave

My sons birthday so won't be coming. Last one was at Colchester football stadium and was quite good.

B184 from lakeside to Brentwood. A128 to Ongar. A414 to north Weald. I know all round here so could work a route.

I went a few years back and got a very high speed spin on a police rib with my youngest.

What route are you guys taking??? And what time are you planning on arriving?

I went, didn't see any one around that I knew, wandered around, got bored... forgot camera... went home.
