It must be winter

Post by spaceprobe »

It must be winter, I drive into town today and most of the bike bays were empty (wimps). I have always been an all weather biker but I have to say this year is the warmest I have ever been. As some of you will know I decided to take the plunge and fit a scooter apron. It took a while to get used to it but I have to saying it is growing on me. Its so warm and comfy, I no longer need the thermal linings in my trousers, and with thermal socks my feet are toasty. However the bulk of praise must go to the cheap muffs I got from Get Geared http://www.getgeared.co.uk/HELD_Motorbi ... ry=3006155" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. They do not interfere with the controls and are big enough to allow me to wear my bulky winter gloves. My hands are warmer than what they were with my old bikes heated grips. Stay warm and safe folks.

Must try again with muffs on the Bev - worked very badly the 1st time.

Fitted Held on my T Max
Crap quality, stitching came undone on first trip, on securing strap. Dangerous too. Above 70mph wind was forcing them back applying the brakes!

completely opposite with me, in fact I am impressed by have fact they don't move at speed (they are a very tight fit on mine). No quality issues either.

I have some cheapy Tech7 ones on the Tmax. Bizarrely, I've fitted them right over the bulky handguards that are on there. This means that they ain't going to get blown onto the brake levers no matter what!!

Itried my Tucano ones on the Bev, but they were being blown right onto my hands at speed. not good....

Tucano Urbanos are well worth the money - mine get fitted for the winter months and are in their 5th year...
and still on summer gloves...
