I have got a burgman 400 scooter do I have to have lessons with a qualified instructor or can I go out on it with a mate who has past his bike test him riding his own bike and me riding mine.thanks

Only if you want to break the law and end up being disqualified. All the regulations are on the Department of Transport web site.
