On the burgman K7 125cc where is the fuel filter located,got most panels off and still cant see it?.

In the tank maybe?

I had that trouble servicing the DT.
The book says replace it, but no mention of where it is, so I followed all the pipes etc., all the way from tank to injector, and nothing. There ain't one. Problem solved...

May not even be a fuel filter problem,what's happening is when riding at 60mph or above and on full throttle only the FI( fuel injector)warning light comes on for about 2-4 seconds and the engine dies(losing momentum),then stars back up again as normal,this will happen every 5-10 mins.This is dangerous as should it happen whilst i'm on a bend it could have me off.
Had the bike from new (2007) and this is the 1st time it's had a problem where I dont know where to look.

Yeah found 1(link below,covers all Suzuki bike's),there is 1 buried in the tank,not worth removing since I dont know if it is the filter,going to have to bite the bullet on this 1 and take it to dealer for a diagnostic .

Looks like this shows the filter in the tank, might be worth a look though.
Click on Burgman on top line, select 125 2007, then scroll down to fuel pump. Shows a filter as number 3.

hi, just a different train of thought here lets remember the scoot is a 125cc and although not had this issue before, i would presume that the revs are near the limit... have you noticed that the revs are slightly higher than usual at the top speed:?: it could be electrical.. say the rev limiter kicking in, have you changed the rollers since new or the belt

Fuel pump?

Another more probable cause is the fuel tank vent is partially blocked causing fuel starvation. You get a partial vacuum forming in the tank. As you slow down or engine cuts it gives the tank a chance to take in more air and the engine starts pulling ok again. It's a common issue on bikes with fuel cap venting particularly. On bikes with a separate tank vent, the tube that vents the tank can become partially trapped or blocked by road crud causing the problem. On fuel cap vented tanks the vent, a tiny hole, gets dirt in it. I don't know which method you have on your bike but I bet that's the cause as the symptoms you describe are classic for this fault. Blocked fuel filters give similar symptoms but you know something is wrong along time before it happens. Block vents can happen all at once depending on the circumstances, it can be ok one day but the next the fault develops.

The way to tell, if it's safe to do so, is to leave the fuel cap temporarily only lightly screwed on so it's a loose fit. If the fault does not occur then that's nearly always the problem. Be sure to put the cap back on correctly as soon as the test is completed and get the cap cleaned.
