Fenda Extenda Burgman 400

Post by spinytoad »

I would like to point out that after contacting Pyramid Plastics to ask them why they had not manufactured a Fenda Extenda for the Suzuki Burgman 400. Their MD was surprised that they had overlooked a model that had been in production for over twelve years. He told me that they would be producing one in the near future. they contacted me a few months later to inform me that the Burgman model was now in production.
I ordered one and have fitted it saving all of the problems of digging out the crud that formed on the radiator in bad weather. A big thank you to the Pyramid Plastics team for their listening to customer requests, I heartily recommend other Burgman 400 owner to fit one.

I often wonder how they decide which models to support. There is an extender for the DN01 which is as rare as rocking horse dung but none for more common models such as the SilverWing which is why Meldrew uses a plant pot and I use a section of a discarded washing up bowl !!

That reminds me, I must fit one to my SilverWing.
What size flowerpot did you use Meldrew?

Thanks Meld... err... Bill.

That sounds interesting Horobags.
I don't mind making one but if one that fits is available cheaply I'll check it out.
Do you happen to remember the seller on eBay or remember what bike the extenda you bought was meant for please?

Thanks Horobags, I've ordered one of those. Should keep the crud out of the Silverwing radiator this winter.
I'll still go the flowerpot route for my PCX though.
