*UPDATE*
11 months exactly and two cheaper scooters on from that horrible day, I've finally bought another Burgman ZA. Not the lovely white - a black one this time, but the same in all other respects and barely run in at 1100 miles. Picking it up on Friday. Then just airflow screen to sort and I'm back.
(Moved this update to here from the end, because I was starting to get the sympathy all over again. Thanks to point burgman for the thoughts but the new bike not the old one is the story.)

LAST YEAR'S NEWS......
I got up for work this morning and there's a space where my lovely white Burgman should be. Please be on the look out for it if you're in the North West, including anyone trying to sell it.
2010 Burgman 400 ZA (ABS)
BT10 YKR
White. Brown seat.
Givi airflow screen.
7300 miles approx.
Ta.

Hi Steve
Will keep a lookout. I am based at the Trafford Centre and live in Irlam. I had my SYM stolen 2 years ago, BAS****S.

Bastards. That's horrible Steve, such a lovely bike too. I really feel for you.
I'll keep my ears and eyes open, any distinguishing marks or stickers etc?

Re: It's gone!
Thanks guys. I am gutted. Just had it serviced and clutch sorted and was really enjoying it. It's a rare bike in that colour, so maybe it'll turn up somewhere. Hard to replace if not and I'll lose a fair bit with the excess. Don't think their target was the bike - found the keys while lifting phones tablets etc.

So the result of a break-in / burglary rather than just scooter theft?...luandablue wrote:.... Don't think their target was the bike - found the keys while lifting phones tablets etc.
