Just to introduce myself, I am just about to buy a maxi scooter probably a 400 Burgman.
So I will be searching for info and tips.
I can see some guys from my earlier haunts in Worcestershire/West Mids but have relocated to Cumbria about 18 months ago.

Hi Meldrew, that would be Haverigg. Good guess! I was a Prison Officer in a previous life (now retired thank goodness) and there is a prison located here as you probably know.

Many thanks for the warm welcome.
I seem to be getting more confused about everything such as which bike, best helmet etc.
Having read info on here hasnt helped , is there an easy way to make the right decisions first time?
