Burgman 400 L0

Before I look at the usual suspects, does any body know if the burger is prone to anything in particular:
Sitting on the bike I can hear a groan as the suspension moves, possibly something rubber gone dry?

I had the rear wheel, exhaust and right swing arm brace off recently, but not the shock or pivot etc.
I suspect it might be to do with doing a long run in the rain at the weekend washing dust into some bush somewhere because it appeared after drying out from that.
Don't think anything is bent

I went back over everything I had done last week to the back end just in case I'd not tightened something or done something stupid, checked the shocker etc and slackened off the swing arm mounts to dry them.

It was niggling away at me because I'd just undone so much on the back end, otherwise I probably wouldn't have bothered.
A bit like the squeaky interlink cans on 2CVs, they'd go on for ever but you could adjust the squeak with a bit of castor oil

I know what squeaky 2CV suspension sounds like, had one of them for a while, loved it.

I remember you saying, that was exactly what it reminded me of.

I've had lots of fun with 2CVs and built specials from the engines with and without the original running gear.
The engines bottom end is unburstable and takes well to supercharging. The "Sidewinder" as seem on the James Bond film was a straight Ami super engine conversion. I've still got the bull bars off a wheel drive 2cv in the cellar and obviously the French are still racing them off road.
