I wonder what your thoughts are on my predicament.

I have a K2 and am very fond of it, despite it's recent treachery.

I am upgrading it to an L2 with 6K miles and am pretty much committed to the deal, so that makes two.

dont ask why but it's drink related. I am the first and so far only bidder, I can't get out of the deal if no-one else bids

Do you think anyone else will bid on it and if not do you think I have any chance of recovering my investment?

Alternatively you could still bid on it and get me off the hook.

If you dont want it, i would contact the guy and ask him to cancel your bid so you dont mess him about, alternativley buy it.

at the end of the day ask the man to withdraw your bid.. if not, just dont pay. it'll get you a 'black mark' but thats better than buyng a bike you dont really want.

i bought a bmw 1100rs off ebay.. went up on the train, JEEZ it was piece of shit! should have walked away, but felt commited. Ran it for 6 months then it all but fell to pieces when i touched it with spanners. sold it as a non runner. lesson learnt.

If its not described when you collect you can walk away it was on wheeler dealers .You can withdraw a bid as long as its not last 24 hrs of auction with no black mark just clic entered wrong amount

Phew, been outbid, so off the hook, but by a person with only two feedbacks, so may not sell at the end. HPI'd it it's fine and as you say the garden tells it all. Wish I had the space for it but alas don't.

If he retracts his bid your top bidder again if you dont want it retract your bid
