New 2013 Burgman
Well some good news, yesterday had a phone call to say the Burgman has arrived. So today we went to have a look, she looks stunning in Fibrion Gray. Took me some time to think what colour to have, I work for the ambulance service so didn’t want white, I see enough white vehicles every day. Every time I looked at black photos of the bike it just looked so dark, all one colour, so went for the Gray and must say I am glad I did. The two colours contrast each other well. I have nothing against the other colours, just my personal choice. So there she was in the dealers with zero miles on and looking smart. Picking it up tomorrow afternoon so will try and post some pictures over the weekend.

Re: New 2013 Burgman
Hi Again
We picked up the new Burgman today and I have to say she is really nice, the colour suits her very well.
I was a bit worried because you can see as many pictures as you like but until you see it in the flesh you are never too sure. I can say though it goes very well and was a pleasure to ride. She is parked in the garage now and I have to keep pinching myself just to make sure I’m not dreaming.
I have been trying all evening to attach/insert the pictures I took without any luck. So here is a link to the online gallery.
http://gallery.chyangwel.com/#!album-6" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Just click on the big picture and you will see a little box appear in the top left of the picture, with four little arrows in side. Click on this and it will load a slideshow in full screen format.
I hope you enjoy them

Re: New 2013 Burgman
Nice pics and the new matt grey suits it. Mine is the oort Grey and if changing then a colour change would be good but it looks good. I'm glad to see that Suzuki at the factory have rotated the throttle heat grip so that the cable is near the top and the heat is on the palm as they are not fully 360° heat. Originally the cable entry was to the bottom and the heat was only on the fingers. I reported this to them via email and a road show as I had to rotate mine manually so it was effective on the palm. Keep an eye on the blue wing mirror switch, they tend to stick after a while, I had whole cluster replaced under warranty. It was not just dirt so hopefully they 'may' have re designed the internals of the switch?
My local dealer does not know when they are getting one in stock, but there is a test road show at Tillstons in Stockton next Saturday, so I may take a trip down to check out mainly the rear seat width and 10mm footrest increase for my wife. For my 2011 model, I have just ordered the Tandem steps for the passenger, it raises it 2". Getting the same genuine part number from Japan for 9200 yen about £62 delivered http://japan.webike.net/products/1566302.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; as the robbing Suzuki accessory section who have just listed them as a new product want £163! for the exact same product number and their display picture is naff https://www.suzuki-gb.co.uk/motorcycles ... medium:41/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
