What is your most CHERISHED BIKING KIT YOU STILL OWN

HI THOUGHT I WOULD START THIS ONE OFF....
In 1978 when i was 19, my third bike was a Yamaha - RD 200 DX and i got Frank Thomas leather summer gloves with red lining, and my cherished Black Frank Thomas B52 leather motorbike jacket, heavily quilted.
I still have them both in use today, the gloves go on in summer, when it arrives.....
The Jacket comes out of the wardrobe on sunny days, but i dont wear it too often as its very heavy and not great for walking around in, but brings a smile to my face when i see the couple of small marks on the arms, when i remember my youthful past, and the fun i had and the few scrapes i got into, i love to put it on, slide up the thick zips, and remember those days..................... :!:

I like my Hood jeans too.

My cherished item is leather jacket made by somebody who was starting out in business and had a stall in Afflecks Palace (late 80's?). Bikers bomber jacket, not one of thoise flying jacket things, copy of a late 50's early 60's item. Really thick leather, weighs a ton and very battered after numerous bikes, open cars and planes and breakdowns.
Girlfriend calls it scruffy, I say it has character :)

The only bike thing I have ever had that could possibly have such a label, was a Shuberth C3 helmet I once had that got trashed in an off a few years ago. I would love another but cannot get one at a price that I can justify. It is the only piece of kit I have ever had that if I could I would replace like for like. Everything else is just chucked and replaced with whatever is similar and inexpensive and has no great significance. I don't currently have any kit that I particularly cherish apart from my Yellow X9 itself.
With hindsight the Schuberth could have been repaired as the damaged bits are replaceable and the main shell was undamaged but at the time I didn't realise and binned it.
