2 bike shows in Manchester 2013,the Manchester motorcycle show at the Central,12th,13th,Jan and the Manchester bikers show at Event City,23rd,24th,March.

I used to visit the Manchester and Birmingham bike shows every year. When they started having some clowns, jumping motorcycles 30-40 feet in the air, and charging scandalous amounts to go in ( the whole point was to get clothing and other gear at lower prices) i was not happy. The last time i went to a bike show i couldn't get near the bikes for all the idiots with kids, and half naked stick insects draped over them. I buy most of my gear on line now, and regret the way bike shows have gone.

A bike show is usually for manufacturers to show their new bikes and I've never bothered going in to the display area.
I enjoy bike shows just as much as I did in the past.
Probably more now in fact because there are more scooters. The trouble is now , I don't find as much time to get to them.
Agree about the stick thin models, though.
Oh for the old days! I can remember going to this one in London but not sure if I saw this model

I agree also cheaper to get in and free parking.

If i get my free pass ive been promised i'll be going, theres no real bargains to be had at these shows anymore, the rent charged to the dealers mean they have to take a lot of money over the weekend before they make any profit, and 15 quid to get in , and 8 quid to park, cheaper to buy off e-bay. The bikes ?? well you could spend a day riding round dealers and see them all for nothing, Its something to do on a cold saturday in january though. I'd rather be out riding me scoot though.

That's not the cost for the Manchester one is it I thought it was £11 to get in and free parking ?

Both £15 0n the day, January one is £10 plus £1.50 booking fee if booked.
