since I've put new tyres on my xmax my steering dosnt feel as sharp as it was. I feel as if it's more wanting to tilt over when turning in where as it used to find it own way through the corners. I've checked the tyre pressures aswel.
Is it just a case of getting used to the feel of it?.. any idea's

New tyres will always feel different to the outgoing ones, even if they are the same model and size.
You should adapt to the new ones quickly enough.

Are they the same brand as the old ones? I put a cheap front tyre on my X8 and cornering felt like shit, the grip was OK but it just wouldn't steer where I wanted it to go. After a month or two I changed it to a Michelin and problem solved. 8-)

I'm not sure what brand the old ones were but I got some Michelin city grips. Like gn2 said, i'll just have to get used to the feel of them. Thanks lads.

When I had the dealer fit a set of Michelins recently, I nearly fell over turning out of the driveway. Now I love them. Give it time.

Doesnt Feel as sharp? - should be the other way round
'cos the old ones were 'prolly so squared-off, you just don't notice the wear happening over time... then when you get new ones fitted - especially if you get F and R at teh same time - the steering and cornering feels transformed!

What pressures are you running? - Im running 30F / 34R in Mich City Grips...

Hello Paul, I've got then at front -27... Rear- 30, as I went by the manual... I know it said to up the pressure for extra weight but wasn't sure of my weight with my gear on. Thanks again :)
