I am about to get my first maxi scooter and I've been looking for a nice forum to join.
Many years ago I had one of the first Gilera Runner VX and the T-Max was a dream.
Now after 10+ years later many things have changed and I am about to get my heavy weight licence. But the dream has stayed the same.
I am currently looking for older bikes preferably a '04 T-Max with fuel injection. Planning on installing a power commander. So If everything goes according to plan I will be a T-Max owner before the summer season begins!

Trévligt att rå´kas!
Surprised you're getting a scooter though, as it's much harder to fit snow tyres i thought? Saying that whenever i've been near Hassleholm in winter i've never seen any scooters at all on the roads... ride safe!

Nice to meet you too! I have no plans for snow tyres though. There are no motorcycles at all in the winter where I live. It's mostly a summer thing here in Gävle and upwards, too much snow/ice in the winter and the temps sometimes hit -20C. Things might be different in Hässleholm as it's very south in comparison.
I have to admit maxi scooters are not a very popular choice in general here. My friends suggest other beginner bikes like the Kawa ER6, CB900 and CB600. But I want something smaller and more practical for everyday use in the city and a comfy bike to occasionally go visit relatives up in the north which is a 5 hour drive with one stop.

Gävle? I have a friend from around Boden who thinks southern swedes are very soft, and don't know what real snow is like

At least you'll have legitimate reasons for being a fair-weather summer-rider, unlike Englanders

Boden is north. So north they probably see Santa Claus all year round. :p
