kind of... yesterday it was more like frosty weather rather than wet, but today it was rainy in the morning. It worked fine yesterday which was the first full commuting day after the plug change, and today was the second day of running.

Picked the burgy up today... The receipt says "Found broken wire feed to ignition coil"

They said the wire had a broken connection which they soldered and fixed. When i mentioned it worked for a day after i changed the spark plug, they said it was probably luck that when i was changing the spark plug, i moved the cable around and it temporarily made contact.

What's more amazing is that as they were dismantling the bike to get to the coil, they saw the air filter was absolutely filthy, so they changed it too. When i went to pick it up, they asked when it was last serviced, and i said 2000 miles ago, but the air filter wasn't changed then. The bike only did 5000 miles and i said it was too early for the air filter to get dirty. They said commuting into london, it's quite normal. Considering i am taking blackwall tunnel on my return route everyday, and each time i cross it, it feels like i'm drowning with carbondioxide, i wasn't too surprised.

I'm now £152 lighter but at least won't have to bear the horrible trains anymore, so overall happy to have my bike legs back.

Glad ur all fixed and back on 2 wheels. Electrical connections seem to be a major reason for issues with scooters.

Thanks, it was also pleasantly surprising that the suzuki dealer in this day and age didn't just act like any other dumb dealer and instead of changing the whole wire loom, just repaired it by soldering.

If it was AyeGees, they do have a couple of good mechanics, they fixed a friends slipping clutch on a B650. They did a good job, and charged a fair rate.
Hope it's now sorted.
Air Filters do get dirty quickly in London.

It was them indeed. Good to see there are still decent mechanics in the trade.

Very true...all the problems on my baby Burger 200 were eventually found to be a corroded wire making a poor earth.

it's very strange though right? only 5000 miles...

bike broken again... i'm fed up. this time even the starter is not turning. Yes, it's zero outside and all but bikes are meant to work in most conditions and not break down in the first sight of a cold weather.

I think it just wants me to sell it...
