C4aok When you say a thirsty beast what do you mean ,if your getting less than 45mpg then there is a fuelling issue 48 mpg is the lowest most have and thats riding it like a loony . A simple test of a plug chop will indicate this ,if black and sooty defo too rich and as you have had new plugs .injectors, airfilter etc then it sounds more like a sensor issue . I have a fuel controller on mine which fools the air temp sensor and has the option to act as an o2 emulator for the lamda probe in your pipe and allows slight adjustment of the fuelling via the injectors , this is because the standard fuel map is far too lean at the bottom end and is done like that for the emission rules . Save your dosh and spend a few hours checking those connections before you go any further . good luck

Most of my riding is around london and obviously been off the road for last two months but i would probably be getting that. By comparison the silver mercedes behind it in pics pumps out 230bhp and does 44mpg. The mercedes is more reliable
