the screws will cover the holes so I am not too fussed, I have loads of spare vinyl to practise with... as for a career change? Likely not, its easy to find the motivation to do it for myself or maybe for a friend.

Re: Blinging my TMax
did a ruff cut of the yamaha logo minus the circle in chrome... and it looks tacky... and doesn't do a thing for me.
This leaves me wondering about doing the rest of the letter decals in chrome, would they look tacky too?

Re: Blinging my TMax
chrome is very reflective, would you be putting on the extra clear fim over? as this might bring the reflection down ....
I cant seem to remember.. I don't know where I'm going, but I'm on my way.

clear would go over the top... but I am now thinking maybe using the white pearlescent blue flip wrap instead...

Very nice! Though maybe it needs some extra red somewhere near the sidelights to break up the white side of the main fairing

Re: Blinging my TMax
Still need to do the front mudguard... the lower section where the bolts go in will be red and the upper part will be white.
I think I am going pretty good so far, only one panel has needed a seam in the vinyl (the back plate). The red stripe over the black on the foot well sides is literally over the the black.
But I think they will come off next week and the whole panel will be white... what throws it for me is that there now looks to be too much black.

Re: Blinging my TMax
When walking out of work too my scoot I had been getting an excited feeling when seeing it... today with the black and red side panels it just didn't happen, it's really doing nothing for me so next weekend I will be doing white sides with a red stripe... and the stripe will end thinner towards the two bolts handle bar end.

That sounds like a good idea. I've sometimes toyed with spraying the side panels on my Tmaxs a different colour, but I'd probably cock it up! I think the fundamental colour combinations on yours looks superb - its just a question of getting the details rightFunkycowie wrote:When walking out of work too my scoot I had been getting an excited feeling when seeing it... today with the black and red side panels it just didn't happen, it's really doing nothing for me so next weekend I will be doing white sides with a red stripe... and the stripe will end thinner towards the two bolts handle bar end.
