Surprised you had problems with Easyparts - I frequently get Tmax bits from them with no issues at all - very fast and reliable. Got my last Tmax mk3 V-belt from them - under £100 (bargain!) no vat or fees to pay and came within 3 days. And if you are ordering something big, they only charge €3 for shipping. On one (bigger) order, I did have to pay UPS fees and VAT. I have had no problems with UPS, except that parcels tend to turn up rather earlier than they say they are going to deliver them!Rocketman122 wrote: Thu Feb 17, 2022 11:28 am I had ordered from easyparts EU. while they are above goparts in that they answer emails (goparts has no support),
they dont offer shipping other than UPS and I got raped with buying the cvt belt with massive fees. around $250 .last time. no thanks.
That said, I've bookmarked the PartSSS site you mention for future reference!

Re: Ebay European countries purchasing parts
I didnt have an issue with easyparts from their part. the only problem is they only offer UPS express shipping and in my country (not in UK) ups/fedex/dhl absolutely thieve with extra fees besides the regular vat. I wound up paying $60 just extra fees they add on, that some are not even legal and they made up. so using partsss.com now. I will update how that goes. will take longer and thats fine. so I ONLY have have to pay vat and not extra made up fees. if it gets caught in customs. not everything does. some things can pass through without paying.
goparts.eu are too expensive with shiiping fee of 55euro and it took forever. like 6 weeks. it took them 2 weeks to get some parts. also box was crushed altthough parts were ok inside. they have NO email support. they hide their email deep in the site and didnt even answer multiple email i sent when I inquired regarding my whereabouts of my deliver. it came really late as they sent via regular mail, which is ok for me. but charging so much is another thing. partsss.com charge a flat 39euro fee I believe. thats fine
with partsss.com they have whatsapp available and was easily able to communicate with someone there. very friendly and a huge benefit. I will update my experience with them. looking for someone consistently to order from. I also have a sym hd200 I need parts for some times. its my backup scooter. they have parts for tons of bikes. suzuki yamaha honda kawa bmw piaggio vespa gilera kymco ktm sym. their website is easy to use. I have a good feeling with them.

Re: Ebay European countries purchasing parts
I must admit I wasn't that impressed with UPS fees, given that to earn their £11 or whatever it was, all they did was send me a few automated e-mails, and took the VAT money via an automated web app, and presumably submitted this to HMRC via an automated system!

Just bought a model 1/8 size Land Rover Defender, paid £320 to a German company on eBay, free postage, maybe vat was included in the advertised price?

Re: Ebay European countries purchasing parts
It can be different on eBay....I bought something from the States, and I could pay an inclusive fee to cover duties and transit, via an ebay export facility in Kentucky (I think). Maybe your eBay item included something like this service?
btw if you thought Royal Mail was crap, this thing I bought from the States was sent by the US Postal Service to Kentucky. It started off in Colorado, slowly crossed the US in easy stages, came to rest in Baton Rouge (or somewhere) not far from Kentucky, stayed there a few days, eventually reaching the eBay facility after around 2 weeks - but then got across the Atlantic to my house in 24 hours (via Hermes) !

@Jimo
not sure how you see it on your side, but when you buy something, and the person has included to include the customs fees, it will say when you are checkout. it will list what youre paying.
in our country we had the up to $75, no vat and no customs fees. they revoked that but I had ordered 2 packages with worth of $60 each and I didnt pay anything.
either
1-it has been canceled but they turn a blind eye and dont want to give a hard time for everything under this price. even though the $75 taz free step is no longer valid, they still arent taxing
2-they have too many packages to pay attention to , to tax and I got lucky both times
not an amazon fan and ordering around once every 1.5 years, because I cant find specific items anywhere else, I came to do a checkout simulation (to see shipping and customs/tax fees) for a few things that added up to less than $75 and no extra fees were asked.
