Globs the srv is my scoot , yes i run fully synthetic oil ,but i use an additive called x1 superlube for everything now days as it does what it says on the tin .Its not the same as ptfe type slick 50 additives so dont confuse them ,take a look at there site . Its paid for itself in this house hold time and time again . I use there maintenance sprays,grease etc and one of my favourite items is there spray on gloves .Another member on here uses x1 also with great results .

Oh I see! I wondered what SRV meant . Normally I'd dismiss additives but I've looked into nano-boron before and a properly homogenised additive with that in sounds most excellent - I might give it a try.

And you are correct - Slick 50 was a non-dupont mush of PTFE that clogged filters and resulted in class action lawsuits as it was useless and dodgy. The only additive I have ever heard to make a difference and reduce friction is nano-boron so it's worth a try. My Joyride does 87mpg on a run (the last tank) so I'll try adding some and see what I get
