And you are correct - Slick 50 was a non-dupont mush of PTFE that clogged filters and resulted in class action lawsuits as it was useless and dodgy. The only additive I have ever heard to make a difference and reduce friction is nano-boron so it's worth a try. My Joyride does 87mpg on a run (the last tank) so I'll try adding some and see what I get
