Good choice and safest bet.

What age/type is it, check the V5 for the model reference, will be either K5, K6, K7 etc after the AN400 part.

You may benefit from a Givi screen if not already fitted, Dr Pulley sliders would be an easy upgrade to the OEM rollers when/if they need replacing. Don't be tempted by any performance belts, stick to OEM though you can buy from EBay (Italy) too.

If you need tyres anytime soon the Michelin CityGrip are excellent and well recommended, good option is buy direct from oponeo.co.uk and take loose wheels to a local place to fit.

Already bricking it, as never even been a pillion on a scoot, seems Wierd sitting position not having a tank between your legs.
Plus it's been about 5 years since my last bike a Kawasaki ZR7S

In about 5 minutes, you'll be wondering why all bikes aren't designed like the Burger! Or maybe you'll notice that you've ridden for miles and you haven't got any back/wrist/arm pain!

Got my AN400K8 Burgman today and WOW!!
All my concerns about grabbing a handful of rear brake thinking it was the clutch didn't materialise.
Absolutely fantastic, it's so well balanced with a low c of g and not having to think about changing gear is so relaxing, as is the seating position.
Just wish I'd tried a maxi earlier, now the cleaning and polishing starts as the last owner wasn't to bothered about removing the dead flies off the bodywork most have been on since the summer at least.
Any body got any advice on what to use to remove them from the screen without scratching.

the last owner wasn't to bothered about removing the dead flies off the bodywork most have been on since the summer at least.
Any body got any advice on what to use to remove them from the screen without scratching.

Lay a wet cloth over the screen, and leave for 10-15 minutes, then take it off and wash the screen with a sponge and soapy water. Dry it off with a soft cloth.
I also use Maguirs PlastRX to polish my screen - just don't get too enthusiastic with the polishing!

I'd go for a Majesty TBH.

SInce the 2007 model Burgman 400s have had clutch judder issues (Google it), I have no idea about the Majesty's faults (Although check valve clearance servicing IIRC) but it just seems a good alternative

I'm not saying post 2007 models will suffer, just that a few do.

Some Majesty 400s will be scrapped before they need the valves looking at, checks are at 24,000 mile intervals.
