I like most aspects of the C125 Cub - especially that it now comes with a pillion seat/footrests, but I don’t care for the colour of spotty black, much sooner have the traditional Red - otherwise thumbs up especially on the price of £3500.

Having recently bought my new toy, a really superbly rebuilt Blue (except engine) ST70 DAX I’m looking forward to the claimed reliability factor, just a few small additions are being made like replacing bent gear pedal with new, adding new MPH speedo, LED Indicators, new rear chrome carrier plus many Decals - it’s now looking like New - and because it’s 1997 vintage it’s tax and MOT free so what’s to loose? At my young age of 83 I just couldn’t handle my ‘52 Sunbeam S8 any more due to its weight so it had to go to a new home, I’d had it for over 50 years.
Here’s an exactly similar photo, practically identical.

But of course I’m still keeping my lovely Helix....

Jim, I think you wil find it is currently vehicles registered before 1st January 1981 to qualify as Historic for free tax?

DB, I’m aware of that thank you, I can’t see any connection with the point you make.

DB if I’m not mistaken 1997 comes BEFORE 1981 - so my vehicle IS tax and MOT free like I said.

Jim, unfortunately your bike is not tax and mot free until it's 40 years old. 1997 doesn't qualify.
Probably not ugly enough for the 'Ugly Bunch'!

Been riding for 55 years & owned too many bikes to list here...

Data, I’m sorry, I have to disagree with you on your statement......, since getting the bike I’ve taxed it at zero cost by DVLA who would NOT have done so had an MOT been required before hand, I can’t account for this but it’s a fact.
