New forza 750

Post by charles1976 »

Looks nice a love child between a forza, integra and xadv.... Will it challenge the tmax 560.

It's on the Honda UK site now.
It's a nice looker, I don't mind the edges.
Storage isn't too bad but not in the same league as the smaller capacity scoots of course, with that bigger lump.

Also at https://www.visordown.com/news/new-bike ... nd-details - though they say in once place its got 57bhp but elsewhere only 54!

So, forgive my cynicism, but its just a restyled Integra isn't it! Quite heavy at 235kg, and only 13 ltr tank - I know its economical, but even so! I note that wheels are 17F and 15R like X-ADV, unlike Integra. I quite liked the idea of 17" wheels on the Integra as in principle gave a much wider choice of tyres than the rather overpriced Scooter-sized tyres that are available for Tmax etc.

Yes, what a shame, it is just a redone integra, indeed it looks like the intergra really.

I dont know who makes the decisions at Honda, and who buys this as a scooter and what their sales are like, but I do wonder where is the imagination

Typical Honda (UK) website with inactive links and things not done properly, but that seems to be par for the course these days.

Wonder if it has creature comforts, like electric screen, heated seat and cruise available?

Seems to me to be a missed opportunity

Looking at the photos on the Honda site, it looks to be a lot more 'feet forward' capable than the X-ADV or Integra were - although it looks as if you may need long legs to enjoy it fully! You can clearly ride feet forward or feet below, to your preference.
Chain Drive, but chain is mostly enclosed, interestingly - only a few inches of it are visible!
Several riding modes, and 4 gearbox modes, and the riding modes alter the DCT's gear changing strategy! That sounds complex - I guess it'd be fine if you can find a combo that suits me.
If only I didn't find the NC engine rather annoying....

That is a good point, why did they do that, they havent gained any storage space or some other justification?

If I squint a bit, it could turn into an updated X-ADV! Small wheels, ff etc. It could be shod with trail tyres and there's your Forza X! No wire wheels of course, nor G button, but that option is buried in the Forza's ride modes, no doubt.

IIRC, you found the motor holding onto gears or not being in the gear you wanted for a particular scenario Mr G?

What a sh*t year we're having - it's changed my way of life, fast-tracked my retirement and brought forward buying myself a retirement scoot/bike. But I'm not ready. So all your lovely input will help me. I've bounced from, SH300 to X-ADV, Yam T7 to V Strom; now back to this
Forza 750 with the probabable restyling of the X-ADV and prospect of a Kawa KLR650/700 later this god-forsaken 2020.

Anyway, I'm trying to like this Forza.........and I do - the style, storage, ff etc, but wonder what the pitfalls of this engine or the bike itself might be.

Maybe the real news today, is the replacement of the Forza 300 with a 350...
