New ECU fitted at service , the old one would not take an update for the Trip computer . Stalling issue gone . Goes as it should now

I remember my BM dealer telling me that one,, 1200gs in 05 lots had stalling issues at stand still, they said nothing wrong with the bike but they changed the ECU becausetmaxrobbo wrote:New ECU fitted at service , the old one would not take an update for the Trip computer . it would not take the updates at the service
PS: bike never stalled again after the ECU swap.

No, runs very sweetly. Took it for a 200 mile ride around Kent this afternoon and it is absolutely fanatastic. Had the screen down on its lowest setting and it was like being in a pillow fight at 80. However with it up I did 99 gps without any buffeting; it's really a great scooter and far nicer to ride than a TMAX Mk3.tmaxrobbo wrote:Doug , any problem like this ?
