Glow plug fuel? Very Dirty and somewhat expensive!
Used it for years....

Quite prob......but that’s too modern! I’ve got a nice 1925 Hoover 370 though! and with all its tools!

Seem to have drifted off topic a bit here. I'll start a new post if I have more information about electric maxi-scooters.

Our ‘Scooters’ seem to be getting mixed up with Ped(al) scoots - those used on pavements etc! More distinction is needed to separate.

We have just got some new stand on electric scooters to hire here on the Isle of Wight the ones that are legal if you hire them but not if you own it ,the company is called Beryl bike owned by SMIDSY ltd ......that says it all.

Yes there is total confusion between mopeds, scooters, and electric scooters now. Even the dealers themselves cause confusion when they refer to scooters as mopeds themselves for example

...from a company calling itself Green-mopeds but selling plenty of machines which don't have pedals or IC motors. Maybe we should run a competition to think up a new name for "scooters with seats" or just call them all Maxi-scooters from 50cc or the electric equivalent upwards.
